You’ve got enough on your plate without worrying about forces outside of your control. Platform changes? Market shifts? Yeah, they happen. Getting too caught up in that stuff can pull you away from doing the work that moves the needle.

The real question we have to ask ourselves:

Are we spending enough time on things we can control and that have a positive impact on our business?

Your team. Your product. How you sell. How you build. That’s where the real game is played. If your time and energy are being drained by things you can’t change, maybe it’s time to zoom back in.

Stay aware of those outside influences, but don’t let them distract you from your main game.
